IDE4 is a Windows desktop workspace for building with AI. It brings voice input, projects, multiple agent panes, team coordination, and usage views into one place, with Codex and Claude Code connections.
No API key is required when you connect a supported Codex or Claude Code coding subscription. Sign in through the provider’s coding account connection. Your plan’s availability, limits, and terms still apply. Optional API connections are also supported.
Yes. Choose Codex or Claude Code independently for your assistant, agent panes, and team supervisors. You can give different parts of the same project to different providers.
Your files, workspace state, speech transcription, and voice synthesis are local. Internet access is required for cloud AI models and connected services, and your selected provider processes the context you send. Local speech performance depends on your hardware.
The public Windows installer is being prepared. The Download.exe button will provide the GitHub-hosted installer as soon as it is available. IDE4 targets Windows x64; a Mac or Linux download is not currently offered here.
Assign tasks to individual agents or link agents into teams with a supervisor. Work uses the allowance of the connected provider account. IDE4 shows token activity and account allowances when the provider reports them; supervising and running multiple agents also consumes usage.
